Okhaldhunga Campus has started its Sports Week, which will last for a full week starting today. The event includes various games such as futsal, table tennis, badminton, basketball, chess, and volleyball.
Today’s schedule has futsal and table tennis matches, with other games continuing throughout the week. The sports week was officially opened by CMC Chair Mohan Kumar Shrestha and led by Campus Chief Indra Prasad Timalsena. Students participated enthusiastically in today’s events. Tomorrow, the badminton matches will begin.
The sports week is part of the campus’s Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) and Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) program. Lecturer Skand Shrestha and Devendra Baniya organized the tie sheets and schedule, while Shiba Rai served as the umpire.
The winning teams received medals from Chief Guest Mohan Kumar Shrestha. The event was hosted by SAT Coordinator Yubaraj Dahal, who managed and coordinated the opening ceremony. The ceremony was attended by several lecturers, including IQAC Coordinator Toyanath Kafle, IQAC Secretary Choplala Dhamala, Placement Coordinator Yadav Baniya, and lecturers Tika Thebe, Ramesh Kadel, Kul Prasad Ghimire, along with staff members Dipak Subedi and Shiba Dhungana.
